This is the only branded Prosciutto Cotto in Italy. These hams are chosen carefully; only one leg out of every four is selected to become the superior Prosciutto Cotto. Naturally aged for at least 21 days in order to drain out impurities and naturally tenderize the meat. This aging process creates a unique and distinctive texture. The meat is then hand trimmed and slowly steam cooked in its own juices and delicate blends of herbs and spices. Prosciutto Cotto contains No gluten, milk proteins, phosphates, or MSG.
