This truly special cheese is handcrafted by Alain Hess on his farm in the tiny village of Pommard in Burgundy. This ball shaped triple creme goat cheese is rolled in mustard seed, and then tied with a mustard husk. Delice de Pommard pairs perfectly with Burgundy reds from small neighboring towns and it is perhaps the best accompaniment when touring the Burgundy valley in their famous river barges, which are always for hire. Creamy and soft, it is great for spreading on a toasted baguette.
