Not to be confused with hors d'oeuvres, which are traditionally eating while standing, antipasto’s literal meaning is “before the meal” and is the first course served in a traditional Italian meal. Traditionally a combination of charcuterie, olives, and marinated vegetables, we haven't departed much from that classic formula. Our tasty take on antipasto includes:
- Jamon Serrano – 8oz. – Drier than traditional Prosciutto, Jamon Serrano has a smooth texture and a robust gamey flavor with a rich honeyed sweetness.
- Flott Tuna – 6.75oz. – Imported from Sicily, rich, line-caught Yellowfin Tuna steaks are steam cooked and packed in olive oil for superior Mediterranean flavor.
- Meski Olives – 7oz. – Free of additives, these plump green olives are organic delights individually cracked to ensure even curing.
- Stuffed Grape Leaves – 14oz. – A Mediterranean tradition, tender grape leaves are hand-stuffed with savory shallots and rice to produce these crunchy treats.
- Sweet Roasted Red Peppers – 12oz. - Homemade at Di Bruno Bros., sweet, fire-roasted peppers are marinated with extra virgin olive oil, fresh garlic, and Italian spices.
- Marcona Almonds – 6oz. – Prized as one of the world's greatest nuts, Marcona almonds are lusciously creamy and pack a rich roasted flavor from sautéing in sunflower oil.
